Cannabinol, or CBN, is a lesser-known cannabinoid that’s gaining increasing attention in the world of wellness and natural remedies. Though it’s often overshadowed by its more famous relatives, THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol), CBN has unique properties that make it a subject of growing interest in the cannabis research community. As more studies emerge, the potential uses of CBN are becoming clearer, and its diverse applications could lead to a variety of health and wellness benefits.
What Is CBN?
CBN is a cannabinoid found in cannabis. Unlike THC, which is known for its psychoactive effects, CBN is non-intoxicating, meaning it won’t produce a “high.” CBN is typically produced when THC breaks down over time, either due to exposure to heat, light, or oxygen.
